Tried Dexter's for the first time and was not disappointed. I love a great burger and the Sweet Heat burger has my mouth watering a day later. We ventured out in the snow storm yesterday and the place wasn't crowded but I can imagine the crowds will be growing as word gets out, as they've only been open since fall 2018. I would like to come back and try the tater kegs and mega pretzel. There are many unique sauce options for chicken chunks but I will be trying all of the unique burgers (Roger That, Dexter Burger, Truffle Shuffle) before ordering chicken. Can't wait to go back. Would love to see a few more sides added to the menu and week night happy hour drink and food specials.
Finally had a chance to visit Dexter's. I had the "Roger That" burger with fries and my son had the regular burger. Both were delicious and over sized stuffed with tons of condiments. All in all we had a very positive experience and would recommend this anyone looking for a causal place with great service.
We have been to Dexter's twice since they have opened and both times were great. The first visit we sat at the bar and the bartenders were both very friendly. We got the tater kegs and Jaycob burger and both were awesome! The most recent visit we tried the loaded fries and unfortunately that was a major disappointment. Nothing about it was "loaded" - the overall presentation was so bad that I accidentally started laughing as soon as I saw it. It looked very sad and pathetic (see picture). Loaded fries are not hard to make so hopefully this dish improves! Both times we were here, there was live music which was awesome. Overall it's a solid spot. We live in the area so we will definitely be back!
This place is New and URBAN AWESOME! The CHOW IS WOW!. The servers (mine specifically Emily) are very cool and friendly! They have a chef not a cook and a simple but 5 Star menu. Excellent entertainment as well. This is a welcome addition to all the great places in the Maumee Ohio area. I live and work in Indiana but still own a home in Lucas county so when I come in town this is my new go to place! I cannot wait to return!
Thanks to Yelp we found this place so decided to stop in for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. Very well decorated and that night there was a live band that we just loved ( 56 daze ). The burgers were awesome and the beer was cold. Will definitely try to make it back.
